Meet the members of the PonyPals family
Alfie
Alfie is a 22 year old stock horse gelding. He has a beautiful jet black coat with a few grey hairs popping up as he gets older
He is a family favourite and is a gentle and willing horse. Alfie loves his meal times and savours every last bite! His favourite treat is a carrot and he can often be found laying down for a nap in the afternoon sun!
Freedom
Freedom is our beautiful, golden, Arabian pony. He is 25 years old and has lived quite the life! Once a Led Show pony, Freedom knows he is a handsome boy!
Since he came to us Freedom has been a cherished child’s pony and has taught many kids to ride.
Freedoms favourite snack is a banana and you will be sure to win his affection if you feed him one!
Doc
Doc is a 23 year old chestnut Stockhorse X gelding. He has a beautiful ginger mane with streaks of grey coming through
Doc is the smoocher of the herd and loves cuddles! If you let him, he has been known to give big kisses and nibble on your hair
He is the leader of our herd!
Rory
Rory is our youngest member of the herd at 13 years old. He is a chestnut stock horse x quarter horse, the son of our mare Angel!
He is the cheeky one of the bunch and can often be seen sticking his tongue out.
Rory and Angel share a very special bond since they have never been separated. They can always be found grazing in the paddock together and grooming one another.
Angel
Mother to Rory, Angel is a beautiful 26 year old Quarter horse.
She has a gorgeous chestnut coat just like Rory!
Angel is retired now so she spends her days in a 90 acre paddock, relaxing with Rory and the others
Matchmaker
Matchmaker is a 26 year old bay stock horse mare. She had a great career as a camp drafter before we retired her from competition.
Match is also best friends with Alfie! they have a big reunion every time they see each other
She has a gentle heart and loves a scratch behind her ears
Rogue
A look-alike of Matchmaker, Rogue is another retired cow horse.
Rogue is a cheeky but talented boy, his special talent is opening gate chains with his tongue!
Rogue loves carrots and can be a big smooch when he wants to
